- The Enrollment Appointments calendar, The Exam Schedule contains the days and times for final exams for Spring and Fall,
- Fall 2022 registration re-opens for currently enrolled and readmitted degree-seeking students from July 18, 2022 to August 5, 2022.
- August 1, 2022 is the last day for community college and FSU students to submit Fall 2022 transient applications.
- August 5, 2022 is the last day to submit waivers or billings for Early Disbursement.
- Fall only/Annual Health Insurance coverage begins on August 15, 2022.
- Early Disbursement Financial Aid is available via EFT on August 16, 2022.
- Residence Halls open on August 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
- Drop/Add (Includes College of Law) begins at 12:01 a.m. on August 20, 2022, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on August 25, 2022.
- FSU Panama City Campus New Student Convocation is on August 21, 2022 at Holley Academic Center at 1 p.m. (Central Time).
- FSU Fall 2022 classes begin on August 22, 2022.
- August 22, 2022 is the last day to file for a change in residency status.
- Late registration ($100.00 late registration fee) is from August 22, 2022 to August 25, 2022.
- August 25, 2022 is the Fourth Day of Classes on the FSU academic calendar.
- August 25, 2022 is the last day to drop/add and have fees adjusted. FSU students are liable for all fees for courses remaining on their schedules at 11:59 p.m.
- August 25, 2022 is the last day to cancel enrollment and have fees removed on the FSU academic calendar.
- August 25, 2022 is the last day to add a course without the academic dean’s permission.
- August 26, 2022 is the Fifth Day of Classes.
- August 26, 2022 is the last day to request VA deferment from a VA representative at the Student Veterans Center.
- The last day to submit waivers or billings is August 26, 2022.
- FSU Fall 2022 Graduation Application Period is August 29 2022 to September 9, 2022. You can apply online at https://my.fsu.edu.
- August 30, 2022 is the first day to apply for financial aid deferments and delayed delivery loans.
- September 2, 2022 is the last day to pay or defer tuition, housing, or fees for all students, including veterans who are not using a veteran deferment, without a $100.00 late fee. Veterans should contact a VA representative with questions.
- Labor Day Holiday is September 5, 2022 on the FSU academic calendar.
- Open enrollment for Fall-only and Annual Health Insurance ends on September 15, 2022, and it is the last day to request a change to or the cancellation of Fall-only or Annual Student Health Insurance on the FSU academic calendar.
- FSU Family Weekend is from September 23, 2022 to September 25, 2022.
- Spring 2023 Registration Guide is available on September 26, 2022. Spring 2023 course listings are available on the FSU Course Lookup system. Open enrollment for Spring Health Insurance begins on September 26 on the FSU academic calendar.
- FSU Homecoming 2022 is from September 30, 2022 to October 2, 2022. No classes after 1:00 p.m. on September 30.
- October 7, 2022 is the end of the seventh week of the semester.
- The last day to submit a form requesting S/U grading or to change the S/U option back to a regular grade is October 7, 2022.
- October 7, 2022 is the last day to reduce course load without the academic dean’s permission on the FSU academic calendar. Dean’s permission is required to drop below twelve semester hours.
- October 7, 2022 is the last day to drop a course without receiving a grade.
- October 7, 2022 is the last day to withdraw from school without receiving a grade.
- October 7, 2022 is the last day to petition to reinstate the class schedule canceled for nonpayment of tuition.
- October 7, 2022 is the last day for doctoral students to take and pass their preliminary examination to add or convert dissertation hours for the current semester on the FSU academic calendar.
- Financial Aid deferments expire on October 7, 2022. Full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee.
- The final payment for installment contracts is due on October 7, 2022.
- Registration for Spring 2023 begins on October 10, 2022.
- October 24, 2022 is the last day to submit a doctoral dissertation or treatise for pre-defense format review.
- November 4, 2022 is the end of the 11th week of the semester, and it is the deadline for FAMU-FSU College of Engineering late drop with the dean’s permission.
- November 7, 2022 is the last day to submit a master’s thesis for pre-defense format review.
- November 10, 2022 is the end of the 12th week of the semester, and it is the deadline for a late drop with the dean’s permission.
- Veterans’ Day Holiday is November 11, 2022.
- November 21, 2022 is the last day to submit the post-defense, content-approved thesis, dissertation, or treatise and required forms.
- Thanksgiving Day is from November 23, 2022 to November 27, 2022.
- December 1, 2022 is the last day for community college and FSU students to submit Spring 2022 transient applications.
- December 2, 2022 is the last day of Classes for the Fall semester of 2022.
- December 2, 2022 is the last day to petition the academic dean for a reduction in course load.
- The last day to officially withdraw from the University is December 2, 2022.
- December 2, 2022 is the last day to apply for an AA Degree at the Office of Undergraduate Studies, UCA 3400.
- Veteran’s Deferments expire on December 2, 2022. Full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee.
- Fall 2022 Final Exam Week is from December 5, 2022 to December 9, 2022.
- Fall 2022 Semester Ends on December 9, 2022.
- The last day to submit extensions for “incomplete” grades is December 9, 2022 by 4:00 p.m.
- December 9, 2022 is the last day to turn in ServScript hours online.
- December 9, 2022 is the last day for thesis, dissertation, and treatise students to receive an email from the Manuscript Clearance Office confirming final clearance on the FSU academic calendar.
- Commencement takes place at Civic Center on December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- Residence Halls close at noon on December 10, 2022.
- Online Grades are due on December 13, 2022 by 4:00 p.m.
- Grades are available online on December 14, 2022.
