About Limpopo Provincial Treasury
As a result of an EXCO decision to separate Treasury duties from the departments of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environment, the Department of Provincial Treasury was established in 2004. To help the provincial government achieve its goals, the treasury is charged with ensuring efficient financial management of the province's resources.
Limpopo Provincial Treasury Bursaries
Matriculants and undergraduate university students who wish to pursue the following qualifications are eligible for the Limpopo Treasury Bursary:
- Bachelor of Accounting Sciences
- B Com Economics
- B Com Financial Accounting
- B Com Cost and Management Accounting
- B Com Internal Auditing
- B Com Business Information Systems
- B Sc Computer Science
- National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, Internal Auditing, and Financial Information Systems
The institution receives payment for any awarded bursaries. Grantees are expected to participate in local or provincial government and to be involved in the community. The grantee will be required to return the scholarship if this is not done.
Bursary Requirements and Eligibility
- Full-time students
- Grade 12 pass with university exemption or an average of 65% for students already at university
- South African citizen
- Limpopo Province resident
